Dorian Thomas Hicks is a native Houstonian, born and raised in Harris County. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rice University in 2012 and a Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in 2015. During his time at South Texas College of Law, Mr. Hicks was an associate editor of the Texas Journal of Business Law and worked for the Grand Jury Division of the Harris County District Attorney’s office. He also won several moot court competitions and participated in mock trial.
After passing the bar exam, Mr. Hicks opened a solo-practice law firm and focused on criminal defense and general litigation. He also served as a consultant to many small businesses. Since joining Ramey, Chandler, Quinn, & Zito, PC in the fall of 2019, Mr. Hicks has focused on defending large insurance companies against first party and third party lawsuits for personal injuries, property damage, and wrongful death.
