John Lynd

John is admitted to practice in all courts (both State and Federal) in Texas. John began his legal career in the United Kingdom and has been a member of the Law Society of Scotland since 1990. John moved to Houston in 2001 and became a United States citizen in 2007. John has over 25 years of experience representing clients in a broad range of civil trial and appellate matters. Currently his practice focuses on the defense of clients in disputes involving construction projects (contractors and design professionals), and property damage and personal injury cases in the transportation and oil and gas/energy sectors. In addition, John has a wealth of experience handling insurance coverage issues (and related actions for declaratory judgment), commercial litigation and arbitration (business torts, intellectual property, financial services/securities, creditors rights/bankruptcy, and breach of contract disputes). Further, John has handled multiple cases involving products liability/mass tort/toxic tort defense.
