With over 20 years of experience, Steve has been a defense counsel, a plaintiff’s attorney and an in-house corporate counsel. Steve obtained his law degree from the University of Utah in 1982, but first obtained his Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Berkley and a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada-Reno. This combination of engineering and law gives Steve an extensive background for handling highly technical cases where engineering standards, calculations, and technical concerns determine the outcome.

Steve’s legal experience includes both proving and defending products liability cases for industrial and consumer products, premises liability, and general negligence suits. Steve’s jury trial experience includes successful defenses of wrongful death cases, automobile accidents, product liability claims and significant personal injuries. Steve’s practice spans state and federal courts as well as the Texas Courts of Appeals and the Texas Supreme Court.
